SO Somalia conducted one day Medfest event for children and adults to further the healthy of our athletes.
MedFest is a Special Olympics Inclusive Health program that offers free sports physicals and other health screening services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID).
This event will also provide fitness activities and the opportunity to learn more about Special Olympics Somalia. The objective the event was to to offer free physical and The examination to the people with and without intellectual Disabilities Special olympics is not about winning, it is about participating fairly.
Medfest is free of charge event and interested parents, guardians within Galmudug and Near by provinces could attend the event. “As the program is new to the country first time three decades Challenges of foriegn interventions for misinformation , creating fear and trying to share wrong information to parent is critical at the Moment”~ said Farah Ali (Parent)
